If the printer's firmware is not updated for a long time, it may fail to adapt to the latest network protocols or router settings, resulting in connection errors. Similarly, outdated printer drivers on the computer can cause communication failures between the computer and the printer, even if the wireless network itself is normal.

To resolve these issues, users can take the following steps. First, reduce signal interference by placing the printer as close to the router as possible, avoiding obstacles such as walls and metal objects between them, and switching the router to a less crowded frequency band (such as 5GHz if both the router and printer support it). Second, check and correct network settings: verify the Wi-Fi password, ensure the correct network is selected, and set a unique static IP address for the printer to avoid IP conflicts. Third, update the printer's firmware and the computer's printer drivers. Firmware can usually be updated through the printer's built-in menu or the manufacturer's official website, while drivers can be downloaded and installed from the manufacturer's website or using the computer's automatic update function. By addressing these potential causes, users can effectively resolve most wireless network connection issues with their printers and restore smooth printing functionality.
